And picking out Scriptures asking me which is it - fire or dungeon? You don't get to learn that way - seems all you want is a 'get out of hell card' and want nothing to do with learning about Jesus and having a personal relationship with God. YOU have to undo your 'critical thinking' mindset and get out of whatever 'man made teaching' religion which has misled you. The ball is in your court - no one else's. Take responsibility for it.
Jesus died so we all can have a personal relationship with God and taking our sin nature away needed to be done since it kept us from HIM. JESUS PAID A HUGH PRICE - a sinless man who only became flesh to save us and reunite us with God. Something HE did NOT have to do.....TOTALLY UNMERITED FAVOR for sinners and you dare imply He is unfair. Don't you ever ever imply such again. Tear out your tongue if you have to!!
Show me where it says a belief in hell is necessary to be saved.
Show me where it says to NOT BELIEVE GOD/His WORD and you will be saved. Go ask your 'christian ear tickler' and the 'christian myth poster', I'm sure they will help you find it.
Here's an example of those who 'thought they were christian' and 'acted' like it also and were turned away.
Matthew 7:21 23 Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!
Do you really believe spreading lies/NOT BELIEVING and 'critical thinking' spiritual TRUTH and calling what is Truth a myth is the will of The Father? What chance do you think 'those Christians' have?
Show me where it says a belief in hell is necessary to be saved.
Couldn’t do it, could you?
And by the way, Jesus is my personal Savior.
First of all, I fully believe in hell, and I believe God will allow people to choose hell, or to not choose faith in Christ for salvation, which is the same result and basically the same thing. God is just and will be shown and known to be just when he does so.
My point is the concept of hell does not make or break whether you have accepted Christ’s offer of salvation. Whather saved from sin or saved from hell, still saved. We are not saved by believing the proper things other than Christ is God and died for our sin.
Whether you believe in hell or not is moot. If it is there, and it is, then those who don’t believe in it or Christ are in peril of finding out later.
