That reminds me (since IIRC Ringo sang that song), for those of you that like the Beatles’ music (I know, their politics are a different story), there’s a special on CBS tonight beginning at 8 p.m. (Pacific time) celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show.
Another program that might be interesting tonight is one on Orcas (we have some pods in the Puget Sound area - - I’ve been on a couple of whale watching trips and they’re really beautiful creatures). Given this is on CNN, not sure if they’ll put a liberal slant on it or if it will be a balanced documentary. From one of my colleagues:
CNN will air the documentary Blackfish again on Sunday (Feb. 9) night. Regardless of which side of the fence you’re on in regard to the subject of Orca captivity, this documentary is well done and provides some information on the Southern Resident pods who live in Puget Sound.
The film will air at 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm Pacific Time.
