I actually feel bad for Barry. He never really did have a ‘family’ and he obviously grew up in a dysfunctional situation. That’s also probably why he’s a sociopath with no real human emotion that isn’t faked ahead of time, which makes him a very dangerous individual in very powerful position. Be scared... Your comment is a very important one. While it can take very different manifestations from the above, significant family dysfunction frequently has lasting negative effects on children that persist throughout their lives. That's just a fact. This isn't a ‘blame the parents’ comment; it's just true.
