If the push is for Bush on year from now, don’t be surprised if Chris Christie starts throwing rhetorical bombs and challenges in Jeb’s direction. By then, many of Chris’s mistakes and presumed ‘sins’ would look small and inconsequential. There is a certain segment of conservatives that will always dislike and resent Chris because of the appearance of disloyalty to Romney in 2012. Some will never, ever forgive that behavior.
Christie may act the “tough guy” but I’m sure he knows better than to cross the Bush machine. That’s GOP 101.
