Desalination works great in Israel next to the Mediterranean, but cannot help a land-locked Californicatia. The state can’t get to the pacific because it has impenetrable high mountainous ridges. These are recent mountain ranges, made up of igneous leftists and other sorts of miscreation.

Yes, I understand those intractable land formations are difficult, if not impossible, to navigate, because they are thick as a brick and twice as stupid. It’s too bad plastique can’t be used to create a smooth path through them.
