Nor do I.
Also (500+) commentary here
The ones I’ve used will keep going if you keep it down, as long as the point makes contact with the surface you’re nailing. It has a retractable piece in front that acts as a safety.
I know a guy who left his nail gun on top of a ladder, and he stepped on the hose, it fell and drove a 3.25” spike right into the top of his head. He calmly drove himself to the hospital and they couldn’t believe it. He couldn’t of placed that nail more perfectly between the two halves of his brain if he had tried. They pulled it out, gave him a shot, and away he went.
We used a Paslode framing nailer building my house. My son was using the nailer and a friend of mine was holding the sheathing on the other side and telling my son where to use the nailer. My son nailed my friends hand to the wall twice (both times nailing exactly where he was told to).
I never said my friend was smart.Fortunately we were using the shorter nails for that particular job. I tried using it a few times and it is heavy and awkward, you have to press fairly hard before you can fire it.

See? it’s stories like that that make me glad I’m an electrician heh.
Before you go into how dangerous electricity is and all that, be assured that I already know haha.
Thanks for following up with the correct link.
This is some scary reading.
No signs of foul play were discovered.
Most have a front safety and shouldn’t fire unless the gun is firmly depressed against a solid object like a 2 X 4 or plywood sheet. Older models might lack that feature, but I haven’t see the murder weapon.
Not physically possible.
You only need a conspiracy of three to complete the circle.

There seems to be a rash of suicides with these financial CEOs. How many are killing themselves before charges might be brought? And how many are being killed?
One or two, maybe. A half dozen in as many weeks? It isn’t like they had a meeting and said we’re going to get put on trial before November so the King looks good, end your life now.
Yes correct. You have to pull the safety mechanism back and hold it for the nailer to shoot multiple times. I usual operation the gun is lifted and pressed back onto the work piece!
Self inflicted???”
Well with a little help from Tony Soprano. :-)
Seven or eight? That takes real dedication to shoot yourself that many times. Sounds fishy to me.
