The Obama administrations response to the Congressional Budget Offices prediction that Obamacare will cause 2.5 million fewer Americans to work in the coming years is an opportunity for Republicans to seize the moral high ground on the issue of work.
Rather than dispute the CBOs analysis which would have been awkward, as the White House has touted CBOs predictions in the past the administration is spinning the jobs loss as a kind of liberation. No longer tied down to the pesky need to earn a salary, some Americans will be able to follow their bliss.
This is part of a pattern from this administration (it would be crude to call it a war on work), of incentives, disincentives, taxes, regulations, and other decisions that make jobs more difficult to find and unemployment more entrenched.
If a Republican were in the White House, the state of unemployment in America would be on everyones lips. As Michael Strain outlines in National Affairs, the absolute number of long-term unemployed and their share of the jobless are both at postWorld War II highs. Five years after the end of the Great Recession, the economy still has 1.3 million fewer jobs than it had in 2008. The employment rate among 24- to 54-year-olds, the prime working population, plummeted in 2009 and has scarcely recovered since....

The RINO’s won't take a leak without approval and a nod from Obama and his leftist socialist!
The first step is to propose a drastic reduction in the number of permanent legal immigrants who enter annually (1.2 million). Also, we don’t need 700,000 guest workers annually either. American jobs for American workers.
What would happen if the minimum wage was ended?
I have tried to go through in my mind how things would unfold over time.
Mona, as always, is spot on! Listening to Rush talking about this today was so surreal! That anyone could believe such malarkey is unbelievable. I do get frustrated with many Republicans because they don’t call Obama the fool that he is, but they are so afraid of appearing to be “racist”. As Rush says, no other POTUS has done so much that is contrary to the Constitution. He deserves to be impeached, but no one wants to impeach the first Black POTUS.
Simply picturing Obamacare as a job killer would be almost enough to give the Republicans a very significant boost in the direction of regaining an operating majority in the Senate as well as the House, and if the Establishment Republicans are submitted to enough pressure, they will retreat from this madness for “amnesty” and ineffective “immigration reform” that cannot in any way aid either the concept of the United States of America or the probable future of the Republicans as an effective counterweight to the road to National Socialism down which this country has been traveling for the past 100-plus years.
On second thought, it's not just the leadership. After all, who keeps electing them Speaker of the House and Senate Minority Leader?
We need to be more nuanced and recognize that Bammy is merely a mullato.
That's the Ace--Obama as the first (maybe) "mixed race" President trumps the rule of law. Well, the law applies equally to all, or it doesn't apply at all.
In order for that to take place surgery is Required to remove Bohner, Cantor and the idiot from Wisconsin’s heard out of the Chamber of Commerce’s Ass.
They are nothing but Corp. Whores to import cheap labor driving down wages and forcing higher taxes to give free stuff to the newly imported turd worlders. All so ADM can make millions and donate large amounts to the whores political slush funds.
They are setting a jobs agenda - it’s called amnesty and it hurts American Citizens...
