They are so connected to this world I think they think the government is God. They have a lot of fear.
Many of them were baptized Catholic with no acquaintanceship with the tenets of the faith. They think that’s enlightened- rejection of rules they don’t even know so that an avowed communist like deblasio and their kids’ teachers can tell them how to raise their kids.
