Why are journalists so damn incompetent? Because if they were competent they might write actual news stories, and actual [truthful] news is deadly to our political caste.

Why are journalists so damn incompetent?Only some are incompetent; some are whores. I assume the reason is that anyone who was competent and had a moral compass avoided urinalism in college in favor of some real profession where you get judged by measurable results, rather than slavish fealty to promoting the idea of more power for tyrants.
