Land commissioner candidate George P. Bush has some pointed words for fellow Republicans who denigrate Hispanics.
If we're going to be successful and be considered credible in the Hispanic community, weve got to denounce some of the ignorant statements that are made about Hispanics and the contributions we make," he told the Tribune's Alexa Ura. His comments come on the heels of a controversial statement on the Denton County Republican Party's website that referred to the expected Democratic top of the ticket as Abortion Barbie with Hispanic Sen. Leticia Van de Putte as her running mate.

Wait until Hate Speech Laws are implemented.
The mere mention of the word “Hispanic” by a White person will be grounds for charges of racism and hate, knocks on the door at night — with arrests, heavy fines and jail time.
Look at what is going on in England, the country where the idea of Free Speech began —
Twitch: “Outrageous: Three British men arrested for offensive anti-Islam comments after Woolwich murder”
Business Insider: “British police are arresting people in the middle of the night if they have made racist or anti-Muslim comments on Twitter”
Front Page Mag: An 85-year-old woman has this afternoon been arrested after abuse was hurled at Muslims outside Gillingham Mosque. The pensioner was handcuffed and taken away in a van by officers”
Examiner: “Kevin Carroll, co-chairman of the patriotic British organization The English Defence League (EDL) was arrested by British police for a “hate speech” crime, as reported by The Independent (of London, England) on Jan. 14, 2013.
Carroll was arrested by Bedfordshire police after he penned a posting on his personal FaceBook page speaking out against the Muslim ritual slaughter of animals in preparation of the yearly Eid festivities.”
Culture News: “London police arrested American citizen Tony Miano (a 49-year-old retired sheriff and California chaplain) for publicly reading the Bible outside of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships.”
Soviet Union or England, the birthplace of Common Law and the Industrial Revolution and now a police state — and what the likes of Sotomayor and Obama are trying to implement here in the U.S.
All the best to you —
I think many don’t understand that right minded Americans don’t dislike Hispanics. Those here who are citizens, many for generations past, are well liked and respected, ditto those who are here with visas and work permits. It is only those who are here illegally that we want out of here.
Excellent idea! Let's start with the ignorant statement, Diversity is Strength.
If the diversity is lawbreaking, unskilled, illegal, government benefits collecting Hispanics, we're better off deporting 20 million of them.
...The Republican Party must embrace more legal immigration.[Posted on 03/19/2013 7:04:07 AM PDT by Perdogg]
Unfortunately, like many of the major debates in Washington, immigration has become a stalemate-where both sides are imprisoned by their own rhetoric or attachment to sacred cows that prevent the possibility of a balanced solution.
Immigration Reform will not occur until Conservative Republicans, like myself, become part of the solution. I am here today to begin that conversation.
Let's start that conversation by acknowledging we aren't going to deport 12 million illegal immigrants.
If you wish to work, if you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you...
This is where prudence, compassion and thrift all point us toward the same goal: bringing these workers out of the shadows and into being taxpaying members of society.
Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors.
Latinos, should be a natural constituency for the party, Paul argued, but "Republicans have pushed them away with harsh rhetoric over immigration." ...he would create a bipartisan panel to determine how many visas should be granted for workers already in the United States and those who might follow... [and the buried lead] "Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers...[Posted on 04/21/2013 1:52:42 PM PDT by SoConPubbie]
