If a person so much as works 1 hour it is counted as a “job”. If that same person does this 10 times in a year, that’s 10 “jobs created” and “10 people employed”.
I want to see the number of people actually working salaried full-time, hourly full-time, single job part-time, and multiple jobs part-time.
Those numbers are extremely difficult to come by, but so far I see 27 million salaried full-time, 45 million hourly full-time, 25 million hourly part-time, and about 3 million multiple jobs part-time. That’s about 99 million employed at all. The 145 million number seems completely bogus.
Yeah but the unemployment number is going down drastically at 6.6% presently so all is good. Just keep watching tv and reading the want ads and collecting a check because unemployment is coming down...
LOL! You noticed that too huh?
This is glorious news comrades. Millions are unshackled from the drudgery of capitalist exploitation.
Plus, the economy is SOOO good people can afford to retire and not work so much.
