No mention of snow, because there won’t be any, except at high altitudes. Like all the storms to hit the UK this year (of which there has been an unremitting succesion), and indeed like all storms brought here by Atlantic cyclonic conditions from the west and southwest, this will be warm. Although precipitation and wind here have been way above average all winter, temperatures have been way above average too.

London weather report for today says it's currently cloudy. Earlier it had "light rain". Tonight's forecast says "Windy with rain likely. Low 43F. Winds S at 20 to 30 mph".
Big Whoop.

It'll be up to 90 on the South West coast, near where I live. Here's what happened to the main rail line into Cornwall and Plymouth two days ago. It's the combination of the wind and the very high tides which is doing the damage:

I just got an email from my sister in Penzance, UK. The last storm knocked out train service in her area (a whole section of track is hanging off a cliff over the ocean). She’s bracing for this next storm.

LOL, I've a boat I'm happy to lend you... Might take bit, and a lot of gas, to get across the big pond though. ;)
Y'all take care over there... Flooding and hurricane force winds are something us folks in Louisiana know a thing or two about. ;)

Can you prioritize this for me?
Is this Winter Storm Leon scary?
Of Hurricane Sandy?
Is this scarier that the planet sized floating mass of radioactive trash headed for California we keep hearing about?
