So, if my employer of the last 16 years wanted to get rid of me for screwing up, they’d have to pay me TWO YEARS’ salary?

As a wise fellow said on CNBC a few years ago...

China has central planning by scientists, engineers, and mathematicians.

And the US has central planning by lawyers.

Neither one is good, but by definition we lose.
