Here we go again ... Nixon was not impeached.

Yea, in the most anal technicality possible one could feebly argue that RMN was not impeached ....

Judiciary Committee Approves Article to Impeach President Nixon, 27 to 11 ... but I believe the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives and almost the entire world would disagree with your interpretation.

Anal retentive? It’s so important for you to pretend he was impeached that you have to say things like that? Why is it that important to you to pretend he was impeached? In your world, was Clinton impeached? How about Reagan? Not to be anal retentive or anything, but do you have any idea which one was impeached and which one wasn’t?

There was no vote on impeachment in the House.

He resigned.

No impeachment.

Was Nixon Impeached by the full House? Because unless he was, he wasn’t, according to the Constitution I carry. It’s that simple. The Constitution doesn’t say anything about “clearing a Committee,” even if by a large margin. It says “House.”

Therefore, the whole world does not disagree with the other poster’s interpretation, but with yours. Nixon was not impeached. Fact.
