No, thats not what Im saying. Im saying the republican est. was more than happy to wink at a porous border as long as it satisfied their interests (vs the interest of the country). There are plenty here who agree. They were happy to have Bush I and II do the winking b/c they were despots of the correct party. Sure there are those here that wouldnt have either party do the wrong thing...but I truly think theyre in the minority. Think back the last last pres election. The shouts for ‘Vote Romney’ drowned out common sense. Romney was NO better than Barry Soetoro in any way. He would have taken us to this place in a slightly different way all the while getting rave reviews here. If you heckle Barry is tantamount to heckling Romney too. So, FR and DU are mostly a place for dem/repub fan boys to vent on the other party. Only occasionally is there a ray of common sense instead of political rhetoric.
Romney, I cannot recall any reasonable Freeper here shouting in support of Romney.
We did have some RINO's and DEM interlopers sneak in, but they were quickly ousted
by our eagle eyed conservative hosts. They were in no way reflective of the Conservative
members of this board.
I find this board to be a valuable resource in discussing both News and Politics
and current events of our times. Never have I got the impression that Freepers
was a Vent Board, as you say.
Do we discuss the other party? Hell yes we do, they're the enemy and to ignore them
would mean complacency of the worse kind. And Venting, sure, if you want to call it that.
What's wrong with ""venting"" as you say? I have no problem with it. Non-members
come here to read all the time, and in thoroughly discussing an issue,
or the Dems, we might just change those Democrat voters minds with some good
old fashioned common sense.
