That’s their last card trick. The problem with that is that they wouldn’t be able to get lots of people on the voting rolls before the election to stem a conservative tide, which is their whole point in pushing it.

But I wouldn’t put it past, say a defeated McConnell and a retiring Boehner to try to push it through before a new Congress is seated. For then they will have to start all over again.

Saving it for the lame duck session?

From 2 days ago Texas Sen. John Cornyn, saying he was “very skeptical that anything’s going to happen between now and November”.

Now and NOVEMBER? What about DECEMBER and the Lame Duck Session, Cornyn??
