So we should let the scriptures they wrote minister to our hearts, and that will lead us in the right direction. I go with the NIV interpretation that comes directly from the original Greek and Hebrew writings. The King James Version is close to the NIV as possible, and uses the language of the Old English, and not enough difference to matter in important issues.
The Catholic Bible resembles the Protestant Bible closely, except it has a few books not in the Protestant Bible.

Now, The Dead Sea scrolls have been entered into history as well. As for the Islam/Muslim Koran, that’s their business.

I am however settled on Jesus is the Son of God and if they don’t agree with that, well I’m out.

NOT so........... there ARE NO original writings of either the new or old testament.. NONE...
all are copies.. (multi-generational deep) of alleged originals..

maybe some are “true” or even partially true..
but their are no guarantees..

I realize bible worshipers would have a problem with that BUT...
then bible worshipers have no real need of God(anyway) they have the bible..

Having an invisible friend(GOD)... is too simple for them..
they need something to HOLD ON to..
