That was a sexist thing to say, why couldn’t it be the crazy aunt of Free Republic? Get with the times. Personally I think God has a sense of humor and is a little bored sometimes otherwise why would he have stuck us with left wing commies halfwits just when it appears many things that man has dreamed of for thousands of years are just around the corner?
Examples abound: New York style cheesecake with no calories and you don’t get cancer 10 years after eating it, cloning Kim Kardashin for the common man, cars that get a quadzillion mpg on one gallon of water, a Fed that has figured out how we can all be rich by just printing more money, unending free stuff that you don’t work for and no one has to pay for, spellcheck that really works, a one dollar Bic lighter that works forever. All these things are just around the corner.
Then God saddles us with a bunch of power mad half wit wannabe Nazis that plan to lead us back into the Dark Ages, that tells me God has a sense of humor and likes to stir things up a little. Prove to me that aint true.
Free Republic is populated almost entirely by crazy uncles / aunts. From geriatric men leering at celebrity photos to holy warriors locked in mean spirited combat for the last decade to preppers who post from their bunkers though seven proxy servers this place is chock full of 'em. Calling young earthers the crazy uncles of FR is a slap in the face of moderately to severely disturbed FReepers everywhere.
Old earthers are the embarrassing dishonest, devious uncle of freerepublic.
As such, I'm not overly concerned about what various people speculate as to the actual age of the earth. It's a distraction from what really matters.
