How desperate has Wendy Davis become? This desperate:

Rising Democratic star and gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis has joined her top Republican rival in supporting a proposed “open carry” law. It would allow people with concealed handgun licenses to wear a pistol on their hip, in full view, while in public.

NO!

If it’s optional, that’s okay with me, but I do not want to be forced to open carry—for several reasons.

Like, only if the weapon matches her shoes and doesn’t clash with her outfit..

I am really going to miss cracking a beer and watching Keith Olbermann’s head explode this evening.

Based on her history is there any reason, any reason at all to believe she is telling the truth? Seems to me that’s a “no” maybe even a resounding no. This just makes her look desperate. It also makes her look insulting. Apparently she believes the voters are fools, easily lied to and manipulated. Nice job Wendy.

She is just trying to peel some independents to vote for her. I don’t trust her at all.

More hypocrisy from the state senator with an 'f' from the NRA.

Granted,, it's hypocrisy on her part, but what about all those republicans "conservatives" in Texas who still prohibit open carry? The Pubs have had control of the state house, senate, and governorship for years, yet such idiotic laws stay on the books.

Why the hell can't Texas get Constitutional Carry?

The answer is simple. Democrats know they can't get elected to statewide office here, so they run as republicans. Granted, even democrats in Texas are more conservative in most ways to northeastern republicans, but they still want to control your lives. It will be a 'republican' that gives Texas a state income tax, if they ever manage such a thing. They try periodically. Fortuately such crap is off the table during election years because even socialists know it's a non-starter with the electorate.

Does she have opposition in the Democrat primary?
I’m thinking if she does she may not get past that level.

Wendy will have the Democratic Party Nomination for Governor. She will bring in the money from outside Texas. The only primary opponent is Reynaldo “Ray” Madrigal.

According to the Texas Democratic Party Website, Ray doens’t even have a website, facebook or twitter account set up.

Reynaldo “Ray” Madrigal couldn’t remember just how many times he had run for office. Madrigal, 71 hasn’t won any election, yet.

The filing deadline for the Texas governor primary election closed December 9, 2013.

4th trimester abortion tool

Which I am a staunch proponent of in many circumstances. People such as Nidal Hassan and Mumia Abu Jamal definitely deserve a 4th trimester abortion. Doesn't that make me more liberal on the issue than Wendy Davis?

Thanks.
Ray sounds like a “hobby” candidate.
We had a guy like that at work who was a black engineer, ran for Congress every two years, and his only platform was putting America on the metric system.
He wasn’t crazy, but he was “different” for sure.
