It is pure emotion. The cold hard mathematical reality, Mercat, is that you only get to vote FOR. It's like a light switch, on or off.

Because what you vote for is the only thing that counts. Had Romney won, right now what we voted for would be the only thing that mattered.
I know what I voted for when I voted for a third-party candidate I knew would lose, and it was a very specific thing. I cast that vote with confidence and would do so again. May have to, in fact.

Actually, I like Romney. He’s not perfect but for a lot of folks on this thread, no one is. Palin is some sort of pure goddess that quit her job in Alaska and has run for anything since. She’s not going to run so get over it.

Romney would have given us RomneyCare, which is ObamaCare with a slightly different set of cronies getting rich.
Romney would have pushed citizenship for 11 million undocumented Democrats. At least with Obama, we get semi-united opposition.
RINOS are, in many ways, far worse than Democrats.
