You can eat all the butter and bacon you can stand and your arteries will never clog unless
you also eat a lot of high-carb, bready, sugary foods.
That is the basis of the Atkins “low carb” diet. Low carb is a euphemism for “HIGH FAT.”
Many Atkins dieters get 80% of their calories from healthful fats.
So enjoy the buttered bacon without guilt, since you are eschewing all else in that image. ;-)
