Our nation was founded on the self-evident Truth that Freedom is a gift from God. It's not something that can be granted, taken away, controlled or regulated by man or government. God is the Creator. God is Life. God is Freedom. God lives in our hearts. No matter how hard the evil tyrants and totalitarians throughout history have tried or may try, God's light cannot be extinguished. As long as man has a beating heart, God lives, Freedom lives.

Freedom is an unalienable God-given right. Our country was forged and founded by self-reliant, religious people who yearned for religious freedom and self rule.

We are all created equal and endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights, including the rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Pursuit of happiness includes the rights to worship freely, to speak freely, to vote, to marry and raise a family, to own a home, to be secure in our homes, to own a farm or business, to own private property, to work, to trade, to travel, to be armed, to self-defense, to equal justice under the law, to be free of government coercion or force and to enjoy the fruits of our own labor.

To secure these rights, we the people created our government and granted IT certain limited powers. Our government derives its just powers only by consent of the governed. Government is NOT our ruler and was never intended to be our ruler.

Free Republic defends these founding principles. FR stands for God, country, family, Life and Liberty!! Freedom!!

FR is not a government approved project or registered IRS non-profit, ie, our free speech is not regulated by the IRS. We are not funded by taxpayer subsidies. FR is funded solely by small contributions made by the individual liberty-loving people who enjoy and use it.

We are beholden to no political party and no outsiders.

No advertisers, no well-heeled sugar daddies, no corporate string pullers, no government subsidies.

No commercial ads, no annoying pop-ups, no ad tracking, no mail campaigns, no spam.

We are self-funded, fiercely independent and enjoy our freedom to speak freely in the support of Truth and Liberty.

But we cannot exist without you.

If you love FR, then it's up to you to keep it going strong with your donations.

If you have not yet made your donation, today would be an excellent day to do so.

Every donation counts no matter how big or small. If you can donate $5, $10, $20, $100 or more, it would be greatly appreciated.

Please click the secure server link above or donate by mail to: Free Republic - PO Box 9771 - Fresno, CA 93794

Make it a monthly if you can. We have some very generous FReeper sponsors kicking in an extra ten bucks for every new monthly signed up. We already have 18 new monthly donors this quarter.

Or contribute a hundred dollars or more per quarter and join I_be_tc's growing list of 300 Club patriots. I_be_tc sends in $100 per quarter and challenges 300 FReepers to do the same. And we have received 88 donations of $100 or more so far this quarter. If we could get 300 FReepers to send in $100 per quarter, these FReepathons would complete much faster.

Your loyal support makes Free Republic possible and your continuing participation makes FR the number one, independent, pro-life, pro-family, pro-small government, pro-defense, grassroots conservative forum on the Net!!

And we're going to need FR now more than ever to combat the current crop of statists, Marxists, fascists, progressives and tyrants who have infested both of our major political parties, our government and our public institutions and who are dead set on trying to destroy the final remnants of our cherished constitution and our precious God-given Liberty!!

Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God!!

We the people are the sovereigns!! We are the resistance!!

Securing the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity is our heritage, right and duty!!

With your prayers, your perseverance, your support, Truth and Liberty shall prevail.

We must keep the Faith regardless of where our "leaders" wish to lead otherwise.

"If we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He also will deny us."

Thank you all very much!!

God bless.

A fireplace would do a lot of good if you have a plentiful supply of fuel. We have a lot of trees, and there are dead branches
everywhere, but our fireplace runs on propane.

The people who built this house were morons. There are no medicine cabinets in any of the five bathrooms. Each sink has a
mirror over it, and I nearly tore one off the wall the first time I tried to open the “medicine cabinet” that wasn’t there. There is
plenty of wood but no wood-burning fireplace. They spent $1100 for the kitchen sink faucet. It leaks. They spent thousands of
dollars buying the most expensive built-ins you can imagine, but they did not put dual-dead bolts on the four doors to the
outside. They installed a top-of-the-line security network, but for ten years, they never installed the cameras or purchased the
service.

Rumors abound that they were the nastiest people you could imagine, and our realtor would not let us meet or speak to them.
Bryan even did the final walk-through with their realtor and not with them.

In spite of all that, we do love the house and have done a lot to mitigate the mess we found after buying the place.

Hee, hee, hee! It’s ours now, and we’re going to keep it until we move to Texas.

I just bought 10 of those on Amazon.

We’re going to give them away at the 9th Annual Texas Cowboy Memorial Shoot.

I’m sure that they can also be used for pancakes, or even biscuits.

My wife’s sister and her husband are moving to Texas in March. He just arrived there in January. He’s in construction (installing floors). In the first two weeks there he has already earned $9k with more contracts on the way. They are/were struggling in Ohio to make ends meet.

I need to look into Texas myself. :)
