Debacle: U.S. intelligence agencies report that developers linked to the Belarus government helped create the Healthcare.gov website and may have inserted malicious code making it vulnerable to cyberattacks and hacking.

The disastrous rollout of Healthcare.gov was bad enough. But as if Americans need another reason to avoid Healthcare.gov, we now hear that the Obama administration, through the Department of Health and Human Services, has indirectly contracted with developers in the worker's paradise of Belarus, a former Soviet republic still closely tied to Russia, to write some of the software code used for the website.

The Washington Free Beacon's Bill Gertz quotes one U.S. intelligence official as saying: "The U.S. Affordable Care Act software was written in part in Belarus by software developers under state control, and that makes the software a potential target for cyberattacks."

According to Gertz, the company involved in the software was EPAM, a Belarusian firm with U.S. offices and international clients that conducts programming work in Belarus. A spokesman for the company, which has a U.S. affiliate, did not respond to inquiries about the company's role in developing the ObamaCare software.

HHS says it has no evidence the foreign code was incorporated in Healthcare.gov's software. Meanwhile, a spokeswoman for CGI Federal, the main contractor for the health care network, had no comment on the report.

Strange, because U.S. intelligence agencies last week informed HHS that EPAM may have inserted malicious software by creating a software "back door" that would permit spying and cybersecurity attacks.

The diplos pulled this off smoothly for decades. Many of the diplos skipped town when the heat was on. They may have had official help----for a price. These are NY Sen Chuck Schumer's constituents. L/E needs to determine if Sen Schumer benefited from this fraud----and determine the ways he may have facilitated fraud.

BACKSTORY Ranking Judiciary member Sen Schumer refused to add an amnesty bill amendment that would protect Americans----Schumer summarily dismissed Sen Grassley's proposal (is it b/c the amendment would adversely affect his votes and donations from his Russian constituents?)

WAS SCHUMER TALKING ABOUT HIS DISTRICT'S VOTERS AND DONORS IN REJECTING THE PROTECT AMERCANS' AMENDMENT?

QUOTING SEN SCHUMER "When people are living in undocumented status, there are times, I suppose, when they've made up identities, made up Social Security numbers," Schumer told his Judiciary Committee colleagues. "How are they going to remember all that, and are we going to delay RPI status? "(The) purpose of this bill is to bring people out of the shadows. We all know when they lived in the shadows, they had to forge documents, forge Social Security numbers, et cetera. I just don't see how, when you've lived here 10 years, and you've had many different identities, many different numbers, you're going to remember them all," said Schumer.
