Actually that is where I think things are moving, at least for the lower end of the medical services field.
I don’t know whether it’s a bad thing or not. On one hand walk in service for a kids ear infection or strep or pinkeye ( i have two kids, have lots of experience with bothe) that doesn’t require an MD or an appointment and where I walk out with a filled prescription for Amoxicillin in hand is a good thing. Convienient and keeps costs down; allowing the MDs to focus on the more serious stuff.
On the other hand, as someone else mentioned on an earlier post (other thread, I think) it does increase the risk of a misdiagnosis and delayed effective treatment. So for me the jury is still out.
For the record, you and Barack are in 100% agreement. You must be proud.
