We all know how the old saying goes when you travel: Dont drink the water. Well in Sochi, Russia, you had better not TOUCH the water, either.
When Chicago Tribune reporter Stacy St. Clair, who is covering the Winter Olympics for the newspaper, arrived at her hotel, she was informed that there was a problem with the water and it had been shut off.
Then hotel staff delivered an ominous warning: Do not use on your face because it contains something very dangerous.
Perhaps this is what they get for discriminating against gay plumbers. Maybe the only Russians who know how to plumb are gay.
No fishing in the toilet? What is happening in Russia that they thought this required an explicit warning?
And I can’t even figure out WHAT the last one is warning against!
Oh, Communism. Is there anything you can’t screw-up?
Don’t shoot up heroin in the bathroom.
theyve done a spectacular job...indeed
