I agree about the double standards you’re pointing out. However, when you are in a position of authority / leadership, you should be very discerning about what you put into an email.

I have been shocked many times at emails I’ve gotten at work. And many times from lawyers, who should really know better.
To speak of this woman in this manner seems very unprofessional to me.
