the iWatch, or any of the wrist mounted phones, will be a complete flop

I think you miss the logic of the device as the 'iWatch' moniker refers more to its place-of-wear position. Last I saw, there was an environment being designed around the device for exercise, health, emergency alerts and other such desirable features to have immediately at hand. I am looking forward to, I hope, the same sense of WOW that happened when the iPad made immediate believers. We will see!

LOL regarding “immediate believers”! I don’t know if you were around for the numerous iPad-bashing posts around here - mainly comparing the name to feminine hygiene products! That is of course versus the amazing experience of actually using an iPad.

I remain ambivalent about the iWatch, but I’ll grant you that the concept has potential!

the only sense of ‘wow’ I’m getting is at the willingness to self tag by some people.

my next thought would be... how long until ‘someone’ has the ability to remotely trigger a taser like effect via the device
