Really??? It sounds more like the defense is opening up a can of worms that they will regret. From the article:

The State Attorneys Office wants Siracusa to rule on whether the video is public record once the defense views the video or when excerpts of the video are shown in court on Wednesday.
The only question is whether texting will be allowed during the showing or will anyone dare to do so.

B) Train your camera on the video to make a pirated copy.
C) Scan the courtroom with your camera, capturing the reactions of people watching the video.

I would assume the sheriff has seen the video and he was pretty clear.
