I do believe that God said: "Thou shalt not murder.

There is a world of difference between killing and murder. God has sanctioned killing, but He has not sanctioned murder.

Murder IS causing the wanton death of a human being, without justification, cause or reason.

“I do believe that God said: “Thou shalt not murder.”

I was always told that it was etched in stone that it is “thou shalt not kill”

But the imperfect men who have said that may have made the incorrect interpretation and god really did say “thou shalt not murder” and the imperfect of translation wrongly turned it into “thou shalt not kill”

Which brings me back to the fact that what is written in the bible is the word of god as it has been interpreted and written down by man.

In the context of man’s law, murder is simply the premeditated, illegal killing of one human by another. Abortion is not murder because it’s not illegal; thus, abortion is legal killing.
