i think Newt would have run circles around BO, and would not have hesitated to call out the MSM on their propagandizing for BO. BO would have still won, but i would have felt better about the fight we put up while going down to defeat. again, i think voter fraud is a big factor in democrats election wins. whenever a Repub wins a squeaker election, they always miraculously find enough uncounted ballots to overturn the outcome.

Newt was a non-starter. He’s always had a problem for decades of wanting to be loved and accepted by the media and political establishment (so he’s never been a reliable Conservative). He also never was able to address his sky-high negatives that have plagued him since he was Speaker. Nominating someone we knew was going to lose just because they might be a better debater than Zero is crazy. The whole field was an embarrassment. We needed to draft Gov. Scott Walker fresh off his recall victory.
