Will Manning get a second ring? Will Wilson get his first ring? This is the first time in a long time that number one seeds in each conference meet. And quite awhile since top offense met top defense. Manning does not get sacked much because he gets rid of the ball so quickly. He has awesome weapons. But keep in mind -- the closest I have to a team is the hapless San Diego Chargers and the Chargers actually beat Manning in Denver. Russell Wilson would say, "Why not us?"

Although I hate both teams...and both cities...I think I'd like to see Seattle win, simply because I don't want Manning to get that second ring.Tom Brady's the only one today that should be allowed to have multiple rings.

For those rooting for Manning to get another ring, I understand. He is a good guy and compares to the greatest ever. Yes, Russell Wilson is young and may have another chance. But in life as in football, he may never get another chance for something like this. My little granddaughter is at a Superbowl party now with her parents in the general Seattle area and is wearing her little number 12 jersey. Seize the moment, Russell.

In my opinion, what we are seeing is the results from all the crap Mannings’ own team mates were saying about him.

Manning made the Broncos the team it is...he gave the team members advice and pop quizzes to help them and it seems to me he isn’t even calling audibles, at this point.

In other words...I think he is just following the plays he’s given from the sidelines and let the ‘team’ do their thing without his input.

They will probably lose this game and after it’s over I wouldn’t blame Peyton if he started looking for a team that appreciates his talent.

It’s a copycat league. Everyone is going to run out and go back to the defense wins championships mantra.

If you do anything great and execute it well you will win championships. Wow, the Seahawks D were on anybody with an orange jersey like Mike Tyson on a beauty pageant contestant.

Am I wrong or was the stadium full of seattle fans like a home game ? Plus Seattle has played all year being allowed to hold players while playing D. Smacks of a rigged game. I like washington. I just tgibk the NFL rigged the game along time ago.

Hey Doug. That ended up a snoozer from the safety on. Manning threw more ducks than the Dynasty does during their show. Bronco’s could not get out of their own collective way.

For what it’s worth, I like this LIVE NFL Playoff/Super Bowl thread more than the other one hosted by Bender2. This one seems like it’s more for football lovers who enjoy talking about the ins and outs of the game whereas Bender2’s threads seem a bit more cartoonish and geared to people basically saying Hi to each other.

I have to say also that I was lucky to have caught this thread becasue if it’s not on the “Breaking News” side bar, it’s almost impossible to find. Do you do this Thread every year and do you have a ping list?
