A Seattle rock station has done some pro-Seahawk song parodies and put them all on their website this past week. My favorite is “Denver Broncos” (sung to the tune of Desperado — one of my all-time favorite songs):

Also, a local church did a Can’t Stop the Beast Mode song. For those of you that aren’t familiar with Seattle, you’ll see the Sounders train (light rail), Westlake Center (downtown Seattle), the monorail (goes between Westlake Center and the Seattle Center, which was home to the World’s Fair), the Space Needle, International Fountain, and a few other sites at the Seattle Center. I think they did a pretty good job. Let the Skittles flow today!

On many of the plays, both offense and defense are pushing each other for position.
After multiple Super Bowl appearances Denver, commandeered by an able John Elway, finally took home its first Lombardi in 1998, and its second the following year.
This year, Peyton Manning's offense has generated more yards and points than any in NFL history.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks are the only team in the league with the personnel to match up against Demaryius Thomas, Julius Thomas, Wes Welker, and Eric Decker.
This is a fantastic matchup between a team built almost entirely around a Hall-of-Famer for explosive offense, and a team built as a team with an outstanding secondary.
Manning can make history by cementing his position in amongs the greatest of the greatest QBs.
Seattle can make history by winning the franchise's first Lombardi in 38 years of history, and Seattle's second sports championship.
Historically, of SB foes that faced each other in the preseason the winner of that game is 5-1 in the Superbowl. Of top defenses vs. top offenses in the SB, the defensive team is 3-1.
A key for Denver may be Knowshon Moreno's running game.
Lynch tires out defenses and is a big reason Seattle has been such a strong second-half team this year.
Percy Harvin will play a strong X-factor role: he'll only play about 20 snaps but will create havoc in that Denver has no logical matchup for him and film is quite scarce.
I'm predicting a mid-scoring game in the 20s and 30s, a game that will be decided in the 4th quarter.
“Also, a local church did a Cant Stop the Beast Mode song.”
A church singing the virtues of the ‘Beast’? Classless!
Manning: 55 touchdowns and only 10 interceptions. Seattle must win the turnover battle to win.
I’m ALL IN pulling for Russell Wilson today!
Russell Wilson is a model for all of us who have been told we “can’t” do something because of x.
But then again it is the year of the horse and we are having Chinese food today. And I am making Sesame Orange Chicken as we speak...I may have hexed any Seahawk chances.
I’m hoping next year, the fiftieth Super Bowl is named “Super Bowl 50” rather than “Super Bowl L”
I guess I have to admit it. I have never liked Elway. :(
You do know that Russell Wilson is a conservative Christian, the son of a well-to-do family of class, a Virginia gentleman. He is quite open about his faith in Jesus Christ coming first in his life.
I will certainly make building that giant outdoor letter sculpture easy, LOL.
Indeed, and I just happen to like the young man.
Agree. That is so those in the public school system are able to know which one it is.
Long time Denver fan and was ecstatic when they finally got a ring. But never was really a fan of Elway. Not a big fan of Manning either. But both are/were excellent qb’s.
I would like to see Seattle take it. I would rather a different team won each year. Especially those that haven’t before.
