There's good reason for Jim keeping Free Republic fiercely independent and self reliant. We needn't look any farther than our Canadian neighbor and sister site, FREE DOMINION , which was shut down after a libel ruling! Don't think for a minute that Free Republic isn't in the cross hairs of the current regime's over lords, so perish the thought that Free Republic will ever want to entertain the likes, needs and wants of advertisers, corporate sponsors, sugar daddies or political parties. We're not beholden to any outsiders and plan to keep it this way, with your help!
If you like and want to keep Free Republic, then it's up to you and that means All of Us to Keep Free Republic Alive, with our freely given Donations.
I know money is tight. I know the Marxist's economy sux, and I think it's getting worse, not better. DrO and I live on a fixed income, so we have to make every dollar count.
