FReepers: We Need to Ramp It UP! We're already into the second month of our 1st Quarter FReepathon with only 36% of our goal met.
There's good reason for Jim keeping Free Republic fiercely independent and self reliant. We needn't look any farther than our Canadian neighbor and sister site, FREE DOMINION , which was shut down after a libel ruling! Don't think for a minute that Free Republic isn't in the cross hairs of the current regime's over lords, so perish the thought that Free Republic will ever want to entertain the likes, needs and wants of advertisers, corporate sponsors, sugar daddies or political parties. We're not beholden to any outsiders and plan to keep it this way, with your help!
If you like and want to keep Free Republic, then it's up to you and that means All of Us to Keep Free Republic Alive, with our freely given Donations.
I know money is tight. I know the Marxist's economy sux, and I think it's getting worse, not better. DrO and I live on a fixed income, so we have to make every dollar count. Even on that, Free Republic means so much to me, that I Donate Monthly and also manage to add enough every FReepathon to qualify for the 300 Club. I fully realize and understand that not all of you here can match my donations, just like I can't possibly match the very, generous, and very, very generous donations of so many of y'all, but please give whatever amount each of you possibly can without harming your own family and household. Family always comes first and I hope and trust that all of you know that Jim wouldn't have it any other way!
Every donation counts, no matter the amount! $5, $10, $20, $25, $50, $100 or more --- and please know that ALL Donations are truly and greatly appreciated.

If you Send in or Donate $100. or more per Quarter please join our growing list of 300 Club Patriots, which was started by FReeper I_be_tc, when she donated $100 and then challenged 300 others to do the same.
