I have no idea if Democrats regard campaign finance fraud involving straw donors as "standard procedure," but I do know that a whole bunch of Democrats were arrested by Eric Holder's Justice Department in an FBI sting last year (also involving straw donors), several of whom are now serving lengthy sentences. And I happen to know that case quite well.
Bottom line, regardless of the motivation behind the decision to prosecute this case, I think it's pretty astonishingly dumb to taunt a prosecutor and a judge when they have you by your gonads. You want lower bail, a favorable plea agreement and some of the harsher charges dropped? Great! My guess is that hurling insults and using your charges to promote your movie is not the way to get there.
Natural selection had its way over thousands of years and the white male came out on top. Even Jesus came to us as a white male. It is not surprising that the rest of humanity is bitter over it and wants to “even out the playing field.”
