Has nothing to do with what I said. I did not read all of it because it is way too long, be pithy. The point is that Gehrig got doinked a whole lot of times, in regular season and barnstorming games. Unfortunately for him, he played on without any medical treatment, a prescription for disaster. He could have never repeated what he did in today’s game, because no trainer at the MLB level would have let him.

In other words gusty, there is absolutely no definitive connection between ALS and concussion injuries.........
