You would think that bi-racial people (not her fault - got it!) might be a little careful about stepping into the racial identity minefield.
She’s what we in the Lowcountry call cafe au lait with extra cream. That kind of mixing produces some lovely outcomes, but apparently with some volatile attitude to go with it. Eartha Kitt comes to mind.
Melissa needs to stow the attitude & accept what G-d has given her, with maybe a little recognition for those who adopt across ethnic lines.

Ms. Harris-Perry has never experienced anything remotely resembling racism or bigotry in her whole freakin' life, not once. No one ever told her to sit in the back of the bus, no one ever denied her the right to vote. But doesn't she sure wish she had so she'd have some ''cred''. This woman disgusts me.
