I believe you because I have experienced France firsthand. From the Belgian border to the Med. From Mt. St. Michel to the Alps. The people are very engaging and friendly. The country is beautiful. Even the cicadas in Provence in the summer, with the very loud noise they make was cool. The French enjoy life differently than we do. America owes a lot of its culture and history to the French.
