Paul Ryan’s Super Clever Idea for Illegal Immigrants

Now that House Republicans have passed a trillion dollar omnibus and trillion dollar farm bill, they are prepared to tackle the most pressing issue of our time – granting benefits to illegal immigrants.

The key to understanding the politics of illegal immigration is that this is not just about amnesty (legalization and/or citizenship). It’s not just that these people are calling for amnesty because of logistics, yet desire an end to illegal immigration in the future. If that were the case they would simply implement the enforcement measures that have been passed on numerous occasions (eight times, in the case of Visa exit-entry), and address those already here from a position of strength – knowing that this won’t happen again.

What they really desire is open borders. That is why they always propose the legalization before implementation of enforcement measures and cutting off of magnets and benefits. They know the latter will never come to fruition while the former will occur immediately. They want to continue the perennial cycle of open borders and amnesty.

However, they understand that the public (and certainly their base) is not buying it. So Paul Ryan has thought of a clever shiny object to use for packaging of this grand scheme. A probationary status!

Ryan said the principles would outline a bill that would allow immigrants living in the country illegally to “come out of the shadows” to receive a probationary work permit.

To get out of the probationary status and receive a regular work permit, triggers for border security and interior enforcement would have to be met and independently verified.

Seriously?? Not to be picky but how does that statement fit with the democrats lying to pass a law in order to legally dismantle the American health care insurance system?? I seem to recall we were told and sold ............. Politicians, most of whom are lawyers, by their very nature can't be honest. They all lie so it will behoove us to not fall for any partisanship separation ploy.

I seem to recall we were told and sold … Politicians, most of whom are lawyers, by their very nature can't be honest. They all lie so it will behoove us to not fall for any partisanship separation ploy.

And yet they do what they can on things like gun-control, abortion, social-programs -- all things they're for.
The point is that they work toward their [stated] goals, the Republican party does not.

I do, Obozo selectively chose pro dem venues to utter his single payer goal and Reid and Pelosi both uttered that the single payer goal was the very reason for the ACA. However, single payer was not part of the dems public mantra and yet the MSM saturated us with the You Can Keep Your Doctor lie. With all due respect, are the dems more honest than the repubs when no matter what they say they know the MSM will protect them by muting, slanting or misquoting their words to make them more palatable and that being necessary to advance their goals?

As Lewis Back so eloquently put it; the dems are the party of BAD ideas and the repubs are the party of NO ideas.

I agree with you that the dems have a plan (Saul Alenski) and they are working that plan thus clearly forcing America in becoming a communist country. Have you heard any democrat say anything about that goal? Obozo has only stated that he wants to fundamentally change America but has never once publically divulged what his goal of change is. The dems will never admit it but we have seen enough that makes their goal obvious. The repubs have no plan because their own corruption is being used against them by this administration, thanks to the NSA. Thus, the repub's ruin is of their own making as they continue to step in every little pile of poo the dems put in front of them. This DC repub leadership is clearly stymied and the only hope they have left is to continue committing fraud (lie) against the American people, the same as the democrats are doing. I believe that DC corruption has caught up with itself and will eventually cause the entire DC house of cards to collapse and may well take the country with it.
