To hear the animal rights activists tell it, keeping a pet is akin to keeping a slave.

To hear the sex bureaucrats tell it, a grandmother hugging a grandchild is “offensive” because many times the child is resistant but is hugged anyways.

My comment was said sarcastically but there are plenty of liberals who do hold that position.
