In a way you're right. The House impeaches. The Senate tries and convicts/acquits.
The Senate as presently composed would never convict. It doesn't matter what he's done. Look what Bill Clinton did and got away with.
In addition, Obama has the ultimate get-out-of-jail card - the race card.
