We lived on South Derbyshire Lane, right off Northwest Highway, in a section called Stonegate. I went to Windsor Elementary, Miner Jr HS, and Mt Prospect. Remember “The Cellar” nightclub?

Yale was off northwest Hiway right by the VFW post.
which during deer season had a big rack outside and
when the vets would come back from hunting they would
put their game up on it to brag and have a snort.
Don’t remember the “cellar” but remember the bowling
ally had 4 lanes and pin boys, and a spotter on the
foul line.
Remember some resturant where they brought your order
around on an electric train set on the counter.
Remember going to the movie on Saturday and staying
ALL DAY, there was a taxi stand next door that sold
all kinds of penny candy. The theater was near the park
So long ago now.
