I'm sure Iran will want to take a look at these too.

We’re going to sell these AH-64 Apachee Helo’s to an unstable country like Iraq.Is our Government crazy?Don’t Answer that.Of course they are.
Before they make that sale they had better seriously think about the damage that would occurr if that technology was suddenly turned against us.

Who gets the US government contract to train al Queada to operate and maintain them?
To: mojito
How many dead servicemen and women are rolling in their recent graves over this??
Sad sad sad.
What kind of a “news media” do we have, not to report this to everyone? I don’t care how liberal the family, not one family who lost a soldier in Iraq would be blasé about this,

This Country will never learn that selling our state of the art weapons platforms to Muslim countries is a self defeating idea. Another gift to “0s” Muslim buddies????

Before we sell weapons to any other nation we should build in a remote kill switch that would render it incapable if they try and use it against us or our allies, or if the weapons get captured by enemies.

I’m thinking about the damage that will occur when this technology is turned against Israel.
Of course, that may be part of the larger plan.

"Who gets the US government contract to train al Queada to operate and maintain them?" With apologies to Country Joe, there is money to be made selling tools of the trade.

Middle-easterners cannot do basic maintenance on (relatively) easy-to-maintain aircraft like Black Hawks - how are they ever going to keep a maintenance-intensive machine like an Apache in the air?
These aircraft won't be doing much flying - not for long, anyways.

RE :”

Iraq cant keep them running for long without US support and the US military knows all their weaknesses, so they really cant use them against us or our allies.
And you can bet they dumbed these down from the ones the US military uses, put special software in its different systems.
Iran didn't find those F-16s very useful after they turned on the US.

Yep. I agree!! After watching that video link (in post #15) of an Apache “at work”, it makes sense to me why the Iraqi’s would want to try to “borrow” a few.

How bout a Taliban skin sensor which will trigger a self destruct package leaving a large bacon scented crater when the trigger is touched.
