Ideas to see the Royals through this “rough patch” ....

1. Rent out the Buckingham Palace courtyard for rock concerts.
2. Lease half of the palace itself to Station Casinos, and call it Palace Station East.
3. Put the Queen on an American-style 99-week unemployment program. It’s not like she’s ever worked.
4. Furlough all 3,000 maids, butlers, chefs, chauffeurs and gardeners on all but Saturdays.
5. Let the Royals experience the joys of rationed, socialized health care, just like the little people. No more private, high-end care... too expensive.
