Besides the bragging, I’m thinking that no one family — or compound — can go up against the forces of the United States government. House destroying tanks? Flame throwers a la Waco? All you can do is make it a little harder.
Exactly. That's why all the false bravado on these sort of threads annoys me. I'm all for having guns and ammo on hand but some out there have the notion that they are going to be taking potshots at people in a SHTF scenario. Bad idea. I can't think of a worse way to draw attention to yourself. Not only from the Feds but from the gangs and mobs that are sure to form up in a true SHTF situation.
I plan to limit my ammo to shooting rabbits and deer.
