I noticed the relationship between Sarah and John during the 2008 campaign. It was almost a father daughter relationship. They had a great love and respect for each other. I think Sarah has not lost her feelings for John on a personal level. You can be of differing ideological convictions and still have a friendship. Just look and the friendship between Sean Hannity and Bob Beckel or the marriage between Mary Matalin and James Carville.

Perhaps, Sarah is looking at the bigger picture. It is the divide and conquer strategy that she sees ahead. She sees the Republicans in a huge fight to recapture the Senate and the Presidency ahead. To succeed, we all will have to work together. The Democrats will work to put Republicans on the defensive through polarization. We will be the party at war with women, against income equality, against the poor and unfair to illegal aliens. They will personalize the argument and use every Alynsky tactic in the playbook. And they will divide and conquer. If we do not wake up and smell the coffee, we will be toast.

I believe in the 2012 election, the State Owned Media discovered a new game plan. It is to promote infighting within the Republican Party. We need an antidote because there will be a similar competition among Republicans in 2016. I want a vigorous debate that takes a different tact than what we saw in 2012. Instead of attacking each other, our candidates should compete with each other on giving the best attack against the Democrat’s performance under Zer0. We need to turn the attack outward, and make the campaign a teaching process to the numb info-bots. The candidates cannot let the State-Owned Media goad them into attacking each other. This will whip up the base into an in-fighting that will be hard to fix when the dust settles after the primaries.

I worry that a Republican will emerge in the primary contest that will have no-holds-bared rhetoric directed towards fellow Republicans in a way that creates terrible consequences. We don’t want someone with such self-importance that they do not have the necessary self control. They would be just the type that would walk through the Republican field like a bull in a china shop. They will not be team players. The Left will hope they can plant such a candidate into the field that will be just the poison pill that infects the GOP with such disunity that it will be impossible to fix after the convention.

I think this is Sarah’s first indication of her intent to run for President in 2016.
