The entire current intellectual premise of current smart phones is built upon the original iPhone of 2007.

The rivals have not come close to Apple’s dominance.

Good for them that they have something that can now compete.

Why would people change the battery on their phones?

Because they keep their phones for so many years that they need to put a new battery in it?

Actually no.

Apple has a superior set of interoperable devices that allows the root iOS to cooperate in ways that are difficult for Google and Android. Windows does not share so well.

It is amazing how people have for almost 20 years now decried the absolute end of Apple.

If people don’t want to buy apple products then fine. Why does that choice have to be followed with epitaph for Apple?

I love apple but I am glad samsung and android make phones to compete and challenge the market.

Which itself much less powerful than other existing smartphones at the time...from which the iPhone itself was derived. The capabilities of the first iPhone weren't even close to the HTC Advantage, although Apple did manage to barely beat the rest of the industry out the door with capacitive touch screens.
