President Obama will deliver his sixth State of the Union speech tomorrow night. The media will cover it as though it matters, even though hardly anyone is listening and most Americans have little or no confidence in the president. Obama's fundamental problem, as he discourses on the state of the union, is that the union's state is palpably worse, after five years, than it was when he took office. So it is hard to take him seriously when he tries to tell us how to make things better.
American Action Network made this video, titled "#EmptySuit." It is short but packs a punch:
Wait until Obama hears that Obama didn’t do nothing the past 5 years. He’s angry and will get to the bottom of it.
I can’t imagine anyone alive cares what he has to say. Neither his supporters nor his opponents nor the vast unwashed masses, no one cares. He drones on, we neither believe nor disbelieve because believing and disbelieving mean we must first be listening and no one is listening.
I can recall presidents I didn’t agree with and presidents who annoyed me but I can’t recall any president prior to this one whose words meant so vanishingly little. Nothing he says matters and 5 seconds after he said it no one can remember what he said. If you were listening in the first place.
I honestly don’t know why anyone would show up for his speech. I don’t even know why he would show up for it. They should just prop up 550 cardboard cutouts where the audience should be and he should just let Dragonspeak deliver the speech.
Only speach is the one that says he’s resigning. That is the speach he will never give. Watch as he runs for a 3rd Term. He can change the laws with a stroke of the Pen and Harry reid will back him up. Watch him do notin’ but talk for the next few years. He thinks he is only one speach away from his return to popularity—he’s like Hitler in the Berlin Bunker moving phantom armies on a map. Reality will slap him in his face like a raw fish. I just hope he doesn’t take the nation with him.

and remember how liberal commentators were using the “Reagan Excuse” for why the recovery was so slow? it was always, well.it took Reagan three years to get the economy rolling again,u need to give bambi more time!!!
I hope things change for the better in ‘14 and ‘16 but I’m starting to wonder if he could be just a reflection of the country he leads.
