It’s all about the “power imbalance” — making it a form of white-collar rape. Meanwhile, Clinton was the most powerful man in the world, and Lewinsky was an unpaid intern. There could not possibly be a greater power difference; and the onus was on Clinton to avoid improprieties — no matter what Lewinsky was “asking for”.
