Yeah, but when it is not a prescribed drug they can not make the money they can with prescription drugs. Substantial difference. Would they rather me taking soft gel caplets at $5.00 for 100 or $300+++ for 90 if they could get it approved as a pharmacy dispensed drug
They already tried that in Great Britain with vitamin C a few years back and it was not any better than Vitamin C from the local grocery stores or Big Lots. In fact the pharma version had bad side effects.

$300+++ for 90 You must not have priced off-patent prescription meds lately. Most cost $10 or less for a 3 month supply.
